![]() ![]() I went shopping one day with a family member who failed to remember this safety tip, and someone ran into the store yelling about our car in the middle of the busy street. We must always park with the emergency brake on. But if you can drive manual, then you know what youÕre getting into. WeÕve had loads of rude people honking at us, and the car stalls at the lights occasionally. ItÕs jerky, and if you are on a street with lots of red lights and fast traffic, it may be difficult to switch gears fast enough to please other drivers. Also, if someone who gets car sick a lot is a passenger or driver, this car might not be a good choice. The downside for us was the actual driving! The hardest thing for some people to learn is stick shift/manual. Safety issues are the primary concern with vehicles anyway. No big deal if you live in a cooler climate. The A/C went out on us (again), and we are stuck riding hot days with the windows down and papers blowing around. The seats do stain easily with spilled beverages, as the previous owners found out. Seats are comfy, CD player works great, radio is great, loads of cup holders available. ItÕs a nice, neutral green but doesnÕt look too much like weÕre going on a hiking trip. We bought this car at a local used lot and were very pleased with the appearance but were stuck with a stick shift. ![]()
